  Helen Theresa (Mauthe) Felzer, age 86, of Appleton, passed away, Monday, January 21, 2013 in Appleton. Helen was born June 5, 1926 to the late Lawrence and Helen (Lamers) Mauthe in Kimberly. After graduating from Appleton High School, she married Ted Felzer on April 17, 1947. She went to school to become a Dietary Director at Franciscan Care Center in Appleton. Helen loved reading as well as spending time at their cabin up north taking walks in the woods and enjoying the nature around them. She especially loved her family, which included her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ted; her sons Mike and Jeff, daughter, Sharon (Iltyd) Geare, granddaughters; Jennifer, Stephanie, Carrie, Amy (Gary) Fiestel and Andrea (Sparky) Jury, five great grandchildren; Ashley, Courtney, Katy, Andrew, and Abby and five great great grandchildren. Helen is further survived by her sister, Beatrice (Phillip) Greb, her brother, Louis (Betty) Mauthe, her sister in law, Doris Stocker as well as many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Helen was preceded in death by her parents and her sons, Chris and Randall, as well as three brothers and four sisters. A memorial service for Helen will be held at 11:30AM, on Monday, January 28, 2013, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, with the Rev. Thomas J. Farrell officiating. Friends and family may call at the church from 10:30AM, until the time of service. Ted would like to extend a special thank you to Helen's best friend, Marge Holcomb and to Betty and Louis Mauthe for all of their love and support.
