    Geiger, Dr. Lawrence H.
    Dr. Lawrence H. Geiger, of New London, age 83, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 29, 2007. Lawrence was born on June 18, 1923, in Clintonville to the late Edward and Elsie (Horn) Geiger. On November 12, 1949, Lawrence married Florence "Mae" Beyerl in Marshfield. He was a graduate of Lincoln Chiropractic College and was a longtime chiropractor in New London and Oshkosh. Lawrence served his country in the Army during WWII. He was a family man who was an avid sportsman and gardener. He enjoyed his "Little White Cottage" close to the river.
    He is survived by his loving wife Florence; his children: Margarite (Larry) Lemke, Aurelia, IA; Maurice (Kaylene) Geiger, Rochester, MN; Lauren (Jim) Christensen, Waupaca; Avery (Barb) Geiger, Fond du Lac; Ronald Geiger, Charlotte, NC; Annette (Mike) Foley, Leeds, UT; Alan Geiger, Appleton; Lynda (Greg) Gmeiner, Hortonville. Seventeen grandchildren: Rebecca (Andrew) Bell, Michelle (Andrew) Eaton, Leah Lemke, Bryan Lemke, Essie Geiger (Nicholas Zeitler), Fletcher Geiger, Martin Geiger, William Christensen, Kay Ellen Christensen, Thomas Christensen, Beth Geiger, Kurtis Geiger, Travis Foley, Sean Foley, Melanie Foley, Andrew Gmeiner, Nicholas Gmeiner. Two great-grandchildren, Austin and Tyler Bell. Brother, Russell (Joyce) Geiger, Neenah; and sister, Virginia Schneider; and special friend Don Steege, Fremont. Brothers-in-law: Joseph (Susan) Beyerl and Gerald (Frances) Beyerl; sisters-in-law: Bernadine Westmoreland, Dolores Jacobs, Eva Beyerl. Also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Besides his parents, Lawrence is preceded in death by a son Joseph, his mother- and father-in-law, brothers-in-law: Edward Klein, Frank Schneider, Leon Beyerl, Wes Westmoreland, Martin Jacobs; and a sister-in-law Mary Beyerl.
    Funeral Mass for Lawrence will be held on Friday, June 1, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London with Fr. David Lewis officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
    A memorial fund has been established.
