    Van Wychen, Hattie M.
    Hattie M. Van Wychen, 79, W688 Golden Glow Rd., Kaukauna, died peaceful ly at her home, with family at her side, Monday morning, Oct. 28, 2002. S he was born Aug. 30, 1923, to the late George and Mathilda (Minten) Ambros ius, in West De Pere. Hattie married John J. Van Wychen on May 6, 194 7, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, De Pere and they farmed in the To wn of Kaukauna all of their lives. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Al aska and was an avid attendee of the Warrens Cranberry Festival and was pr oud of her collection of Cranberry Festival Buttons of 30 years. Hattie w as a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and its Christian Mothers, s he volunteered at St. Nicholas School as a server for the hot lunch progra m, she founded the On The Go 4-H Club and was a member of the Town of Kauk auna Historical Society, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Freedom VFW Unit #76 92 and was a volunteer for Home Care for the Elderly.
    Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Nodji Van Wyche n, Warrens, Wis.; Peter and Barbara Van Wychen, Kaukauna; George and Ter ry Van Wychen, Kaukauna; ten grandchildren, Tonya (Mike) Gnewikow, Kyra (R andy) Neumann, Shana (Ryan) Steele, Henry Van Wychen, Dr. Lee Van Wyche n, Lori and Jill Van Wychen, Nicholas, Matthew and Becky Van Wychen; two g reat-grandsons, Damon and Trey Gnewikow. She is further survived by two br others, George Ambrosius, Jr., De Pere; Bernard Ambrosius, Kaukauna; thr ee sisters and brothers-in-law, Idabelle and John Bildings, De Pere; Eliza beth and Norbert Van Hoof, Kaukauna; Florence and Bill Lancelle, De Per e; a sister-in-law, Betty Ambrosius, De Pere; six brothers-in-law, Norbe rt (Eileen) Van Wychen, Freedom; Jerome (Edna) Van Wychen, Kaukauna; To ny (Lillian) Van Wychen, Kaukauna; Rich (Betty) Van Wychen, Kaukauna; Will iam (Bernice) Van Wychen, Kaukauna; Melvin Van Wychen, De Pere.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Van Wychen, on Dec. 8, 1 999; a grandson, Marcus Van Wychen, in 1990; two brothers, Carl, in infan cy and Ted Ambrosius; three sisters-in-law, Doris Ambrosius, Millie Van Wy chen, Hattie Van Wychen; and a brother-in-law, Peter Van Wychen.
    The funeral liturgy for Hattie will be held at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 3 0, 2002, at ST. NICHOLAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, N4088 County Trunk E, with Fath er Dennis Ryan officiating. Burial will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery. Frien ds may call at the church, on Wednesday, from 3 p.m., until the time of t he Mass. There will be a VFW Auxiliary Service at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
    The family would like to thank the staff of Home Instead Care Givers, Visi ting Nurses Association, family and friends for their loving care and supp ort.

    Obituary:
    Donald J. Bildings, 64, Ledgeview, passed away unexpectedly Friday November 10, 2017 at a local hospital. The son of Idabell (Ambrosius) Bildings and the late John Bildings was born March 14, 1953 in Green Bay.
    Donald enjoyed talking and joking with the many people he came across in his travels. Farming was in his blood and he loved to work the land and work with the machinery. He always had a wrench and some binder twine close by to do the job. He always made time for a gator ride thru the neighborhood to either talk to the neighbors or to disrupt and razz one of his brothers. He liked to stir up the local wildlife and had his own way of deer hunting. You could always find him at D&G Restaurant on Friday and Sunday mornings mixing it up with the patrons with a random joke or comment and always with a smile.
    Survivors include his mother, Idabell; his brothers and sister: Mark (Ruth), Robert (Treve), Dorothy (Dennis) Cashman, Joseph (Carol), Raymond (Paula). Brother-in-law: Kevin Sommerfeld. His nieces and nephews: Nick, Brenda (Josh), Billy (Alee), Lindsey (Zane), Lacey, Beth, Todd (Hillary), Laura (Brett), Emily, Elizabeth, Johnny. His great nieces and nephews: Tommy, Ava, Zoey, Addyson, Izabell, Bennett. Donald's special friend: Gloria Berg and her family, Jodie (Brett) Buteyn, Terry (Dan) Frase. The kids who called him Grandpa Don: Kaitlyn, Trevor, Collin, Mason, Mandy, Mariah, Benjamin, Charlotte. Aunts, uncles and cousins also survive Donald.
    Preceding him in death were his father, John Bildings, a sister, Margaret Sommerfeld, a brother Kenneth Bildings, granddaughter: Madeline. His grandparents: William and Frances Bildings and George and Matilda Ambrosius.
    Family and friends may call at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Dr. Ledgeview from 3pm until 7pm Thursday November 16. Parish prayer service 7pm Thursday. Visitation will continue at church from 9am until 10:45am Friday. Mass of Christian Burial 11am Friday at St Mary Catholic Church, Ledgeview with Rev. Richard Getchel officiating. Interment in St. Mary Cemetery, Greenleaf.

    In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in Donald's name.

    Ambrosius, Paul J. "Pud"
    Paul J. "Pud" Ambrosius, 49, De Pere, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday evening, Dec. 30, 2008, at home. The son of George Ambrosius and the late Doris Mae (Huben) Ambrosius was born June 16, 1959, in Green Bay, and lived all of his life in West De Pere. He was a 1977 graduate of West De Pere High School.
    Pud enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, softball, golfing and was a fan of NASCAR racing and enjoyed following sports of all sorts. He was an original and longtime participant in the Pink Flamingo Tournament. His farm haywagon was the start of the Pink Flamingo "floats" in the annual parade. Paul took special pride in his up-north getaway where he loved fishing on Post Lake and snowmobiling around the area. He'll always be remembered for preparing the Farmhouse for the family gathering at Christmas. He was employed at Tape Inc., for 25 years until the company closed the Green Bay Plant. Pud was greatly loved and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
    Survivors include his father, George; brothers, Dale (Cheryl), Tom (Debbie), Jack (Lori); sisters, Barb Spang (Tom), Lois Burt (Randy); his nieces and nephews, Christina Domka (Andy), Melinda Spang (friend, Miguel), Samantha Burt, Robert Burt, Kyle Ambrosius, Megan Ambrosius; and great-nephew, Corbin Domka.
    He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Mae; maternal grandparents, Ben and Evelyn Huben; and paternal grandparents, Mathilda and George Ambrosius Sr.
    Family and Friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere, from 2 to 5:45 p.m. this Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009. Funeral Services will be celebrated at 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Father James Baraniak, O. Praem., officiating. Entombment will be held Monday at Allouez Mausoleum.
