  County Pioneer Succumbs Here Lingering Illness Fatal to Mrs. Margaret Schuh At Age 83 Mrs. Margaret Schuh, 83, 921 N. Appleton-st. a pioneer Outagamie-co resident, died Monday afternoon at her home following a lingering illness. She had been a resident of this county since 1866. She was born Jan. 3, 1850, in Milwaukee, and was married there to John Schuh Nov. 6, 1866. Death came on her wedding anniversary. Her husband, with whom she had celebrated her golden wedding anniversary here 17 years ago, died in 1922. Following her marriage, Mrs. Schuh went to Freedom where she lived for 15 years, then moving to Grand Chute where she resided until 20 years ago when she came to Appleton. She was a member of St. Therese Church, of the Christian Mother's society of that church and of the Women's Relief corps to which she had belonged for 30 years. Survivors are six daughters, Mrs. Anton Reckel, Mrs. Catherine Stewart, Mrs. Thomas Jones, and Miss Rose Schuh, Appleton, Mrs. Frank Motza, and Mrs. Roy Swartzal, Milwaukee; four sons, Charles of Milwaukee, Leo of Kaukauna, and George and Joseph of Appleton; 24 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 8:30 Thursday morning at the residence with services at 9 o'clock at St. Therese church. Burial will be in the St. Joseph cemetery. Friends may call at the residence from this evening until the time of the funeral. Prayer services will be held there at 7:30 tonight and by the Christian Mother's society at 7:30 Wednesday night Appleton Post Crescent Mon., Nov. 6, 1933
