Al was preceded in death by his first wife Bet ty Groskopf (nee Munson). Loving husband of Nancy Niemi Groskopf. Loving f ather of Daniel, Susan (Daniel) Maloney, Todd (Maureen Rohan), John (Sue ), Jenny (Pat) Moran and Jane (Fred) Westreich. Stepfather of Barbara (Way ne) Burbach, Jacqueline (Thomas) Boland, and Kent (Maggie) Niemi. Dear pa pa of 17 grandchildren. Brother of Charles F. (Elizabeth) Groskopf and t he late Grace (Leonard) Groskopf. Brother-in-law of Jane LeDain and the la te Mavis Holtan. Al was co-founder of Alpine Plywood Corporation and a 101 st Airbourne World War II Veteran. Memorial Gathering Monday, July 8th fr om 4:00 pm until time of the Memorial Service at 6:30 pm at the funeral ho me. Reception to follow at Alpine Plywood.
