  Elisabeth Veronica Riniker, age 92, passed away on November 15, 2012 at Care Partners in Little Chute. On February 17, 1920, she was born to the late Eusebius and Hedwig (Hoffmann) Hesslinger in Wurzburg, Germany. She immigrated to America in 1951, and six months later her childhood sweetheart immigrated from Germany as well. She was united in marriage to Henry Wehner in Milwaukee. Although their time together was brief, they had two daughters, Eva Klemp and Susan Jungen. Sadly he passed on June 1, 1957. In 1962 she was united in marriage to Hugo C. Riniker. Elisabeth gained another daughter, Diane Thoenes and a son, Donald Riniker. They were blessed to have 45 years together. Elisabeth was an amazing mother and housewife. She was always willing to help out anyone, a "true caregiver"! She worked as a CNA for many years in a hospital and doing private care. It was there she met her best friend Joan Thompson. She was loved dearly by all who were fortunate to cross her path. Lisa is survived by her daughters; Eva (John) Klemp, Appleton, Susan (Mark) Jungen, Greenville, Diane Thoenes, South Milwaukee, and son; Donald (Lynn) Riniker, Menominee Falls. She is further survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and her special friend Joan (Truman) Thompson, Durand, WI, as well as many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Henry Wehner and Hugo Riniker and her brother Rudolph Hesslinger. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Valley Funeral Home with Chaplain Michael Williams officiating. Inurnment will take place at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Cudahy, WI. We would like to thank all the awesome people at Care Partners, who gave her love and took such excellent care of her and made her final days brighter.
