- Fink, Alice Marie (Loderbauer) "World's Best Mom"
Alice Marie Fink, 88, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007, at St Paul Nursing Home, Kaukauna, surrounded by family following a long illness. She was born Oct. 6, 1919, the daughter of Michael and Theresa (Ashauer) Loderbauer. Alice married Francis Raymond Fink on Oct. 25, 1938, at St Mary's Catholic Church in Kaukauna. Alice and Francis farmed in the Town of Harrison after their marriage. When the farm was sold, she worked as a waitress at the Hyland House in Kaukauna. Alice was a member of Holy Angels (Holy Spirit) Catholic Church, Darboy.
Alice is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Mueller, Menasha; a son, Ronald (Patricia) Fink, Town of Harrison; four grandsons, Scott (Chris) Mueller, Luxemberg; Randall (Connie) Fink, Appleton; Daniel (Sheryl) Fink, Minneapolis, Minn.; Michael (Selina) Fink, West Branch, Iowa; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Agnes (Loderbauer) Wittmann, Kaukauna; two sisters-in-law, Naomi (Fahrbach) Loderbauer, Kimberly and Eileen (Fink) Liebergen, Kaukauna; her husband's brother-in-law, Robert Schwarzbauer, Appleton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis, on April 22, 1993; her parents; two brothers, Raymond Loderbauer and Peter Loderbauer; sister-in-law, Lorraine (Krueger) Loderbauer; brother-in-law, Raymond Wittmann; her husband's brother-in-law, Willard Liebergen; his half-brother, Leo and wife, Theresa (Ver Bockel) Fink; his half-sisters, Vera Fink and Gladys (Fink) Schwarzbauer.
A private family service for Alice will be held at Valley Funeral Home. Entombment will be in the Star of Hope Mausoleum at Highland Memorial Park.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Paul Nursing Home for their excellent care of Alice.
