- Esther M. Sell, age 91, of Chilton died on Monday, September 11, 200 6, at Chilton Care Center in Chilton. She was born April 15, 1915, in Stoc kbridge, daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Steffes) Giebel. Esth er married Joseph Sell on November 14, 1934, at St. Mary's Catholic Chur ch in Stockbridge. He preceded her in death on December 30, 1989.
Esther was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, and the Christian Mo thers. She was known as an excellent cook and enjoyed crocheting, making a fghans, gardening and raising flowers.
She is survived by two children: Leroy (Joyce) Sell of Chilton, Bill (Sand y) Sell of Menasha; a daughter-in-law, Ruth (John) Skahen of Chilton; eig ht grandchildren: Karen (Richard) Gruber, James (Wendy) Sell, David (Tamm y) Sell, Lori (Kori) Zimdars, Michael (Carla) Sell, Sarah Sell, Jody Sel l, Judy (Don) Wesener; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law: Alo is "Hoop" Sell, Ervin (Rosie) Sell; and two sisters-in-law: Appie Eichmei er and Leona (Jacob) Paltzer. She is further survived by nieces, nephew s, other relatives and friends.
Esther was also preceded in death by a son, Donald Sell; a sister; three b rothers; four brothers-in-law; and a sister-in-law.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 14, 2006, at Go od Shepherd Catholic Church (54 E. Main St.) in Chilton. Burial will foll ow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at Wieting Family Fun eral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton from 11:30-1:30 p.m. on Thursday, S eptember 14, 2006, when family prayers will be held.
