Searching for Bridget Leonard and John Curtin/Curten's families.
I have not been able to locate actual sacramental records on either of them.
Mary Curten is living with the Thomas Cavanaugh family in the 1880 census. Without doing a lot more looking I know that the Cavanaugh's are intertwined with the Barry's. I also know that other Cavanaugh families took in orphans. I suspect:
· John & Bridget died before 1880 - St. Mary's Appleton funeral records do not begin until 1892. I checked Little Chute 1865-1880. St. Mary's Kaukauna funeral records begin 1876 and Mackville 1865-1880. They probably are in the missing St. Mary's Appleton records.
· Searched for marriage of John & Bridget at Little Chute 1855-1865 and at St. Mary's Appleton which start in 1862 to 1866 but found them in neither.
· I think it is very possible Bridget was the daughter of John Leonard & Catherine Barry.
I have already spent way over my allotted hour so I have to move on but perhaps you'll have better luck looking at the John & Catherine Leonard family. Perhaps he has a probate file that might name the children of his deceased daughter Bridget??? Maybe there are files for John and/or Bridget Curtin…

- Pioneer Resident Of Kaukauna Dies Funeral of Mrs. Mary Bayorgeon Will be Held Saturday
Kaukauna - Mrs. Mary Bayorgeon, 73, 225 Doty street, died at 2:20 Wednesday afternoon at her home after a lingering Illness. Born in 1866 in. Greenville, she came to Kaukauna with her parents when a child, and lived here since. She was a member of Catholic Order of Foresters, St. Ann's court No. 226. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Emma Barnes, Milwaukee, Mrs. Mary Knuth, Wrightstown, Mrs. Cleo Donaghey, Madison; five sons, Marshall Arnay, Joseph. Kaukauna, Cyrus, Milwaukee, Arthur, Omaha, Nebr.; two brothers, Patrick Curtin, Menasha, Thomas Sinchey, Kaukauna: one sister, Mrs. Margaret Dobbin, Fond du Lac; 15 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 Saturday morning at the residence, and at 9 o'clock at Holy Cross church, with the Rev. A. Garthaus, pastor, in charge. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The body will be at the residence from this evening until the time of the funeral. Prayer services will be held at 8 o'clock tonight and Friday at the home.
