- Dolores Peters, 75, Kimberly, died unexpectedly at her home Christmas day, Tuesday, December 25, 2007. She was born March 28, 1932, in Little Chute, daughter of Edward and Bertha (Van Rossum) Van Domelen. Dolores married Donald L. Peters, November 28, 1951, and he preceded her in death March 31, 1998.
Mrs. Peters was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, Kimberly. Dee was an avid gardener who had a "green thumb," especially with her "double delight roses." She also enjoyed reading, and the last several years became engrossed with any type of novel.
Dolores is survived by her children: Carla (Ron) Haacke, Clintonville; Karen (Dan) Wildenberg, Washougal, WA; Keith (Deb) Peters, Darboy; Kim Geurts, Green Bay; and special friend, Greg; seven grandchildren: Shelly (Steve) Wedde, Clintonville; Jackie Opperman, Marion and special friend, Travis; Jennifer Wildenberg, Seattle, WA, and special friend, Dave; Jaime (Manuel) Cadanes, Seattle, WA; Amanda (Steve) Marks, New London; Cory and Samantha Geurts, both of Green Bay; six great-grandchildren; two sisters: Jeannie (Bob) Phelan, Darboy; Donna (Merle) Friebel, Gresham; sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law: Elke Van Domelen, Willamina, OR; Mary Van Domelen, Appleton; Clifford Peters, Appleton; Alice Peters, Appleton; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, a sister, two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 31, 2007, at Highland Memorial Park Chapel, Appleton, with Sister Carol Haanen officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the cemetery chapel from 1 p.m. Monday until the time of the service. A memorial has been established.
