  Mrs. Joseph Berrens, 49, of 919 W. Brewster street, died about 11:30 Tuesday morning after a long illness. Surviving are the widower; two daughters, Mrs. Louis Brum, Appleton, and Miss Audrey, at home; two sons, William and Joseph, Appleton; two brothers, Henry and William Scherer, Menasha; two sisters, Mrs. John Kersten, Kaukauna, and Mrs. Louis Cybulski, Gilman; and a grandchild. Friends may call at the Ellenbecker Funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening. The rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight and 8:30 Thursday night. After the cortege forms at the funeral home at 8:45 Friday morning, services will be at St. Therese church at 9 o'clock with the Rev. M. A. Hauch in charge. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery. Mrs. Berrens was born July 6, 1900, at Stockbridge and lived in Appleton the last 12 years. She was a member of the Christian Mother's society of St. Therese church.
