- Vande Wettering, RobertRobert VandeWettering, age 75 of Kaukauna, died unexpectedly Thursday Mar ch 25, 2004 at the Appleton Medical Center. He was born January 15, 19 29 in De Pere, WI son of the late Peter and Helen (Van Dyck) VandeWetterin g. Bob was a Korean War Army Veteran. On September 16, 1952 he married t he former Ella Mae Eiting at St. Francis Catholic Church in Hollandtown. T he couple farmed in the area most of their married lives. Bob was present ly employed at Banta Packaging in Kaukauna. He was an avid hunter and fish erman and was a longtime member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Hollandto wn and the Knights of Columbus.Survivors include his wife of almost 52 years, Ella Mae, Kaukauna, their c hildren: Nancy (Don) Brockman, Kaukauna, Doug (Dawn) VandeWettering, Apple ton, Sherry (Joe) Peterson, Kaukauna, 12 grandchildren: Jodi, Jacki, Joann e, Jane, Jyl and Jesse Brockman, Kurt, Kyle, Cody and Kayla VandeWetterin g, Derek and Kelly Van Deurzen, two brothers: Ken (Lois) and Pete (Mari e) all of Appleton, nieces and nephews.Bob was preceded in death by a son, Dan. Funeral services will be he ld at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Catholic Church, Hollandtown with F r. Jim Lucas officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends m ay call at the Boettcher Family Funeral Home 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukau na from 4 pm to 8 p.m. Sunday and Monday after 10 am directly at the chur ch until the time of services. There will be a parish prayer service at 7: 30 p.m. Sunday. A memorial fund has been established in his name.
