- John Patrick Fox, 90, a De Pere resident, died Friday, Oct. 13, 2000. T he son of the late PatrickJ. and Bridget (Maloney) Fox was born July 11, 1910, in Askeaton. John w as a graduate of St.Norbert College. He and Mary Ann VandeLoo were married on July 11, 194 2, at St. Mary Catholic Church in De Pere. John was a mining engineer in t he Upper Peninsula of Michigan and had been employedas a civil engineer for the State of Wisconsin Highway Department in Gre en Bay. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Parish, De Pere, the De Pe re Area Golden ""K"" and the Knights of Columbus.Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Fox and their children, Ann Fox, DePe re; Dr. Tom andRoberta Fox, Atlantic Beach, Fla.; Mary Lynn and Jeff Crisco, Whitefish Ba y; six grandchildren,Patrick, Thomas and Matthew Fox, Becky, Andrew and Emily Crisco; one siste r, Delores Miller,Arizona. He is further survived by his ""special buddy, Peg Schumacher; ni eces, nephews, otherrelatives and special friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Fa ther Tom Fox O.Praem; and two sisters, Elizabeth and Marie Fox. Family a nd friends may call at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Per e, Sunday, 2 to 5 p.m. Prayer Service Sunday 4 p.m. at the funeral home. T he visitation will continue Monday morning after 10 a.m. at St. Francis Xa vier Parish, 220 S. Michigan St.,DePere, until the time of service. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, Oct. 1 6, 11 a.m. at the churchwith the Reverend V. Anthony Dolski officiating. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cath olic Cemetery, De Pere.The family would like to thank his caregivers, Judy, Gail and Bobbi and h is physician, Dr. LynnBudzak.
