- Eva S. DeBruin, Appleton Age 87, died on Sunday, July 30, 2000, at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Cent er. Eva was born in Little Chute on April 6, 1913, to the late Henry and Mary (Blindauer) VanSuste ren. On June 20, 1935, she married Sylvester DeBruin; he preceded her in death on January 15, 199 6. Eva was a member of St.
Joseph Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sons, Jack, San Diego, California; Jerry (Sandy ), Marinette, Wisconsin; and Maurie (Sandy), Appleton; daughter, Becky (Randy) Zimmer, Appleton; a b rother, John (Helen), Stoughton, Wisconsin; two sisters, Irene Austin, Appleton; and Joan (A l) Hickey, La Crosse, Wisconsin; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Eva is furth er survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parent s, husband, one sister and six
brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 200 0, at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 404 W. Lawrence St., Appleton. Visitation will be fr om 1 p.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow the service at St. Joseph Cem etery in Appleton.
