  Karen Brochtrup Crawford, age 51, formerly of Kaukauna, passed away in Jackson, Tennessee. Services for Karen will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 10, 2010, at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH - ST. FRANCIS CHURCH in Hollandtown, with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Friends may call at the church on Friday morning from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service. (Nee: Brochtrup) Karen Marie Crawford, age 51, passed away with her family by her side in Jackson, Tennessee, after a brief illness on September 5, 2010. She was born September 3, 1959, the daughter of Isabelle (Lamers) Brochtrup and the late Roland Brochtrup. Karen loved to travel. She lived many years in Germany and Italy before making her home in Tennessee. Karen also loved working with special needs children. She always had a place in her heart for them. Karen is lovingly survived by her mother, Isabelle Brochtrup of Little Chute; children: John (Stephanie), Fanetha (Jason), Wendolyn (Torris), Kimme (George), Kimberly (Eddie); nine grandchildren; brothers: Gary (Sue) Brochtrup of Appleton, Dan (Dianne) Brochtrup of Brillion, Tom Brochtrup (special friend, Paula) of Greenville, Randy (Mary) Brochtrup of Appleton; sister, Judy Kantelberg of Kaukauna, and numerous nieces and nephews. Karen is preceded in death by her sons: Nathan and Michael. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 10, 2010, at St. Katherine Drexel-St. Francis Church, 433 Cty.
