- Ralph T. Clements COON VALLEY, Wis. - Ralph T. Clements, 81, of Coon Valley died sudden ly of a heart attack Tuesday morning, March 14, 2006, at Franciscan Ske mp Medical Center in La Crosse.He was born June 9, 1924, in the town of Washington, La Crosse Count y, to Edward and Martha (Kneifle) Clements. On Feb. 22, 1949, he was unit ed in marriage to Josephine "Joanne" Leis at St. Peter & Paul's Catholic C hurch in rural Cashton, Wis. The couple farmed their married life on Nor th Ridge, rural Coon Valley, and retired to Coon Valley in 1989.Ralph was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Coon Valley and he ad of the church cemetery board for the past 25 years. Ralph was an avid c ard player.Surviving are his wife, Joanne; one daughter, Bonnie (LaVerne) Hemmersba ch of Cashton, Wis.; four sons, Philip (Debbie) of West Salem, Wis., Denn is of New York, N.Y., Alan (Marilea) of Coon Valley, and Mark and his spec ial friend Julie Dobbs of Melrose, Wis.; 10 grandchildren, Scott Hem-mersb ach, Tina (A.J.) Bahr and Christine (Ron) Schultz, Tracy and Kimmy Clement s, Cody, Jason and Courtney Clements, and Kohl and MaKayla Clements; eig ht great-grandchildren; one brother, Isadore (Alvina) Clements of St. Jose ph's Ridge, Wis.; two sisters, Mary (Harold) Mashak of Bangor, Wis., and G eraldine Fritsch of Sparta, Wis.; one sister-in-law, Adeline Clements of S t. Joseph's Ridge; and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Martin, on Oct. 30, 196 6; three brothers, Arnold, Victor and Edward Jr.; one sister, Elaine Matth es; and one granddaughter, Jennifer Clements.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1 8, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Coon Valley. The Rev. Wayne Kidd wi ll officiate, with burial in St. Peter's Middle Ridge Catholic Cemetery. F riends may call at Seland Funeral Home in Coon Valley on Friday fr om 4 to 8 p.m., with a rosary service at 8 p.m., and at the church Saturd ay from 10 a.m. until service time.
