- Wayne P. Belongia, age 50, of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at St. Mary Hospital in Green Bay with his family by his side. He was born January 25, 1960, in Kaukauna to Harold and Geraldine (Douglas) Belongia. On December 29, 1979, he married Judy Scholz in Gresham. Following marriage, Wayne entered the U.S. Army with the 82nd Airborne Division. After 10 years of dedicated service, he returned home to reside in the Fox Valley area. He was currently employed driving school bus with Huettl Transport. Wayne enjoyed shooting pool, fishing, golfing and camping. He also adored spending time with his two granddaughters and outdoor activities with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; two sons: Jason (Johanna), Seymour, Josh, Seymour; two granddaughters: Madeline and Carly; mother, Geraldine Belongia, Appleton; five brothers: Mark (Cathy), Bruce, Glenn (Earlene), Harold, and Richard (Susan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Harold, his brother John, and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Friends may call at Muehl Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Monday, February 15, 2010, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, from 9:30 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
