- James J. Holschuh, Sr. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 22. Jim was born December 15, 1929 in Green Bay to Edward and Matilda "Tillie" (Vandenberg) Holzschuh.
Jim married RoseMary Maenner on June 23, 1962 in Eau Claire. She preceded him in death in 2014. He will be missed by his five children, Jeanette (Richard) Gerke, Jim Jr. (Lisa) Holschuh, Margaret Lee (special friend Keith Deprey), Peter Holschuh, and Michelle (Robert) Simmons; 11 grandchildren, Jonathan (Hannah) Gerke, Timothy Gerke (special friend Marissa Bucksot), Olivia Holschuh, Justin and Sydney Lee, Nicholas and Ian Holschuh, Benedict, David, Marc, and Alexander Simmons; Jim's brothers and sisters and their spouses, Edward (Mary) Holschuh, Robert (Barbara) Holschuh, Harold (Helen) Holschuh, Carol (Frank) Radosevich, and Joan Hanstedt (Wayne Dombeck); RoseMary's sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his beloved wife, Jim was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Christine Rose; RoseMary's siblings, Arthur, Francis, and Paul Maenner, Virginia Mousel, Catherine Warren, and Marcella Maenner.
Jim enjoyed spending time with his family, and he valued the traditional Roman Catholic Latin Mass.
Friends and family are encouraged to attend the visitation 4 to 6 p.m. Monday evening, December 28, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2771 Oakwood Dr., Green Bay. On Tuesday, December 29, a visitation will be held at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Oratory, 211 N. Maple St., Green Bay, followed by a traditional Latin Mass at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be donated to St. Vincent de Paul, 1529 Leo Frigo Way, Green Bay, WI 54302.
