  Walter K. "Bro" Miller Jr., Neenah, died on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010, at the Valley VNA. He was born on Oct. 22, 1923, in Appleton, the son of Zabell and Walter K. Miller Sr. Bro graduated from Appleton High in 1941, and served in the U.S. Army. He then attended Purdue University and graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering in 1947. Bro was very involved with the Beta Theta Pi fraternity. Bro married the love of his life, Carol Angermeyer, on Nov. 6, 1948. He, along with his brother James and father Walter Sr., started Machinery and Supplies in 1949. Bro was an avid hunter, loved dogs, enjoyed the camaraderie of special golf friends. He also had a lifelong passion for boating and the water. He joined the First Presbyterian Church in 1954, and was an elder, a member of the choir and served on many communities. He was also active in the Neenah-Menasha Optimist club and was a mason. Bro loved and spent hours at the piano with jazz being his favorite. In his business and personal life he was always a gentleman. He was a loving, kind friend, father and husband. He will be in all of our hearts forever. Bro is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carol; his three daughters, Marcia (John) Murdock, Ann (Gene) Gallmeier, and Barbie (Jack) Renner; his grandchildren, Jason (Angeline) Gallmeier and their children, Julian and Preston; Jackson (Jori) Renner, Erin (Dan) Burk and their child, Riley; and Matthew Losse. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and loving friends. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, at 4 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 200 Church Street, Neenah. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the hour of service. The family would like you to join us after the service for a celebration of bro's life. Bro's family is indebted to the staff at the Valley VNA for his loving and wonderful care. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to the First Presbyterian Church or the Valley VNA.
