  LeRoy J. Evers, 69, New London, passed away on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at his residence. He was born on Oct. 7, 1942, in Appleton, son of the late Martin and Florence Evers. On Aug. 25, 1961, he was united in marriage to Nancy Gore in Appleton. LeRoy loved to fish and hunt, watch Nascar racing and Packer games, and play video games with his granddaughter. He worked at Kimberly-Clark for many years until his retirement in 2001. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; granddaughter, Leah Evers; three brothers, Norm (Doris) Evers, Greenville; Eugene Evers, Appleton; Vern (Beverly) Evers, Appleton; two sisters, Joyce (Bob) Gosse, Black Creek; and Lois Bissing, Black Creek. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Todd and Tadd; a daughter, Teressa; brother, Clarence; and a sister, Dorothy. The funeral service for LeRoy will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London.
