  Edward "Ed" Gene Menting, age 60, Suring, formerly of Mountain passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Edward was born September 13, 1950 to the late Edward and Harriet (Van Roy) Menting. Ed married Donna Reitz in 1970, and she preceded him in death in 1998. The couple moved to Mountain in 1980. Edward is survived by his daughter, Brenda (TJ) Schrank of Mountain; his 2 grandchildren, Jessie and Cody; his brother, Gary (Caroline) Menting of Darboy.
