  Gerald Louis Verhagen "Jerry ", 353 Karlyn Street, KimberlyAge 71, loving husband, father, and wonderful grandfather, passed away aft er a lengthy illness. Jerry was born on March 13, 1930 in Little Chute, t he son of the late Louis and Ceil (Williamson) Verhagen. He graduated fr om Little Chute High School. Following graduation, Jerry served in the Kor ean War as an Airborne Ranger and Medic. He married the former Nadine (Zwi ers) Verhagen on September 3, 1955. Jerry was employed as a millwrig ht at Kimberly Clark (Midtec) until he became disabled. He is surviv ed by his wife of 45 years, Nadine; their seven children: Deborah (Dean) W irth, Appleton; Vicki (Mark) Schmalz, Appleton; Cindy (Doug) Hoffman, Kauk auna; Jeff (Wendy) Verhagen, Appleton; David Verhagen (fiancee Jessica), W aupaca; Jodi (Mike) Skeens, Appleton; and Julie Verhagen, Kimberl y. He is further survived by his 13 loving grandchildren, and a sister a nd brother-in-law: Eileen (formerly Hale), and Harold Strauch, Appleton. J erry was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law: Jan and Da ve Lenz, Little Chute; and his parents, Ceil and Louis Verhagen. The funer al liturgy will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2001 at HOLY NAME CATH OLIC CHURCH, Kimberly, the Rev. Dennis Bergsbaken officiating. Interment w ill be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call directly at the chur ch on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of mass.
