  Carol A. Sprangers, 63, Appleton, passed into eternal life on Saturday, June 13, 2009, at home after a courageous battle with congestive heart failure. She was born July 21, 1945, in Appleton to the late Albert and Evelyn (Hooyman) Hussman. On Nov. 3, 1964, Carol married Jim Sprangers at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Darboy. The couple lived in the Darboy their entire married lives. Carol enjoyed her years working at Badger Northland. She loved bowling, traveling, Knitting, volleyball and water aerobics at the YMCA. Carol also enjoyed playing and working the bingo games. She loved her family dearly. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, James T. Sprangers; her children, Cathy (Bob) Bramlett, Dodgeville, Wis., and their children, TJ & Kristi; Steve (Kris) Sprangers, Darboy, and their daughter, Alison; Patti (Dan) Leitermann, Wrightstown, and their children, Travis & Jenna; Dan (Angela) Sprangers, Darboy, and their son, Simon. She is further survived by her siblings, Donna (Mike) Maynard, Kaukauna; and Joe Huisman, Portage; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Joann (Frank) Lee, New York, N.Y.; Roger (Vanice) Sprangers, Appleton; Nadine (Dick) Van den Bosch, Mt. Dora, Fla.; Barb (Jim) Haemer, Plover; Paul (Sharon) Sprangers, Colville, Wash.; Helen (Dave) Nowell, North Liberty, Iowa; Ann (Roger) Rathert, St. Louis, Mo.; Dave Sprangers, Greenville; Marian Morman (special friend Tom) Appleton; Greg (Deb) Sprangers, Appleton; and Ron (Cindy) Sprangers, Appleton; and many more family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Andrew and Annabel (Birling) Sprangers. Carol's Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday June 16, 2009, at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH at Holy Angels Church, Darboy, with Fr. Dave Beaudry officiating. Friends will be received on Monday at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Kaukauna, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a Parish Prayer Service at 8 p.m. concluding the evening. Friends will be received again on Tuesday directly at Church from 9:30 am until the time of service. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
