  Mr. and Mrs. Ted Gloudeman, who lost a son, Allen, in an automobile accident while he was returning to the University of Stevens Point on a Sunday evening last fall have been deeply impressed by the many fine things done for them by fellow students of their son since that time. They have agreed to comment on these matters in a letter written for the readers of the Kaukauna Times.

  Gloudeman, Theodore "Teddy" - Theodore Gloudeman, age 85, of Kaukauna, died Thursday, September 28, 200 6, at AMC. Teddy was born January 24, 1921, to the late John and Lena (Kni ppens) Gloudeman in Kimberly. He married the former Emma Gorshe on April 1 5, 1944, at St. Mary Church. Teddy was active as a Scout Leader and with t he Special Olympics. He played Santa Claus for many years for the Cathol ic Knights, Foresters as well as many friends and neighbors. Teddy was kno wn to be light on his feet, for he enjoyed dancing, roller skating and i ce skating. He also enjoyed, camping, the outdoors and traveling. Teddy a nd his humor will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Emma Gloudeman; five children: Sha ron (Dave) Koenaman and their two children, Lisa (Jonathon) Bascue and Lo ri (Scott) Biese; Lawrence (Nancy) Gloudeman and their three children, Ros s, Chad and Brett Gloudeman; Steve (Margie) Gloudeman and their two childr en, Paul and Brian Gloudeman; Diane (Dan) Maes and their four children, Kr isty, Kari, DJ and Jason; and Rick (Gretchen) Gloudeman and his son, Ada m; six great-grandchildren, Rachel and Lauren Bascue, Carter and Jordan Bi ese and Autumn and Eaden; three godchildren: Michael Gloudeman, Scott Glou deman and Steve Miller. He is further survived by two brothers: Vincent Gl oudeman, Richard (Marta Gloudeman; a sister, Mary Ann (Ray) Ardanz; and ma ny friends, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his two sons, Ken and Allen; fi ve brothers: William, Jerry, Howard, Ronald and Eugene Gloudeman; and h is mother and father-in-law, Mary and Blaze Gorshe. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30 a.m. on Monday, October 2, 200 6, at ST. MARY of the ANNUNCIATION CATHOLIC CHURCH with Fr. Jerry Pasto rs officiating. Friends will be received on Monday at the Boettcher Fami ly Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna from 9 a.m. until 11 a. m. Teddy's cortege will depart the funeral home at 11:15 a.m. A memori al is being established in his name. Burial will take place in the Pari sh Cemetery. The Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna is assisting t he family. 920-766-2099.
