  Arthur C. Mathes Route 2, Kaukauna Age 73, passed away at 7:30 a.m. Monday after a short illness. He was born in Woodville Nov. 11, 1886 and lived there until moving to Kaukauna three years ago. He farmed in the Woodville area most of his life. Mr. Mathes is survived by his wife Viola; one daughter, Mrs. Delmar (Ruby) Richter, Brillion, one son Har vey, Van Alstyne, Tex: two brothers, George, Hilbert; Jacob, Chilton, two sisters; Mrs. John Sands, L'Anse, Mich.: Mrs. Rudolph Schwalenberg, Kaukauna; 10 grandchildren, one great- grandcild. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday at St.John Lutheran Church, Woodville, with burial in the parish cemetery. The Rev. Elwood Habermann of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Kimberly, will officiate . Friends may call at the Greenwood Funeral Home, Kaukauna after 2pm Tuesday until noon Wednesday, and then at the church.
