- Brandon Michael Protogere, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, tragically left us on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. He was born in Janesville, WI, on May 16, 1999, to Apostle 'George' and Pamela (Johnson) Protogere. He was currently in his Junior year at Kimberly High School. Brandon had a beautiful soul, was a loving person and had an infectious smile that would light up a room. His passion was fitness and weight lifting. He loved the great outdoors: hunting with his brother and Dad, being at uncle's cabin, ice fishing, cutting wood and driving the camp truck. He was loved by so many.
Brandon will be greatly missed by his parents, George and Pam Protogere of Appleton; brother, Nicholas Protogere of Appleton; grandmother, Ann Protogere of Appleton; grandfather, Allen Johnson of Janesville; Aunts and Uncles: Francesca (Mike) Diedrick of Appleton, and their children: Jennifer (Ryan) Morrison and their child Olivia Morrison; Stephanie (Adam) Tornow; Angela Diedrick (fiancé, Cody Hoffman) and Benjamin Diedrick; Barbara Protogere-Sprangers (Dan), Kaukauna; Christine Wyngaard (Bruce) of Appleton, and their children: Justin Wyngaard, Lindsey Wyngaard, Courtney Wyngaard: Scott (Darcy) Johnson, Beloit, and their children, Nicole Johnson and David Gerber; Brittany (Brock) Morlan and their children, Lucy and Lola Morlan; Mark (Rhonda) Johnson of Janesville, and their children: Erin (Justin) Wendorf; Jenna (Stephen) Rebout, Kyle Johnson (fiancé, Sarah Krauter) and Chandler Johnson; Todd (Karen) Johnson of Janesville, and their children\\,: Kiana Johnson and Levi Johnson. He is further survived by numerous other cousins, relatives and friends. Brandon was preceded in death by his grandfather, George Protogere; and grandmother, Marlene Johnson.
A Funeral Service for Brandon will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2016, at CHRIST THE KING LUTHERAN CHURCH, 601 S. Washington St., Kimberly, with Rev. Tim Krick officiating. Friends may visit the family directly at CHURCH on Saturday from 9 until 11 a.m. Interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton, following the services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
