- Glen F. Guyette, age 68 of the Township of Matteson, Waupaca County, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at the Shawano Medical Center.
Glen was born on February 27, 1944 in New London, the son of Clara (Latza) Guyette and the late Ronald Guyette. He graduated from Shiocton High School in 1962. On July 11, 1964, Glen married Mary Montour until they divorced. On October 23, 1982, Glen married Susan (Frost) Rhode at Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville where both are current members. The couple lived and farmed in the Township of Lessor, Shawano County until 1987 when they moved to the Township of Matteson. Since 1985, Glen was a loyal employee at Walker Forge in Clintonville for 27 years until his current retirement in June 2012. His hobbies included gardening, canning, boating, watching documentaries, movies and working around the house and yard. He also enjoyed cars, especially his "model A" and his dog companion, "Sidny". Glen will be missed and remembered as a hard working, soft spoken, big hearted, generous man who enjoyed sharing, especially his mints.

He was preceded in death by his father, his son, Gerald, a granddaughter, Jessica, his former wife, Mary and his mother-in-law & father-in-law, Ruth (Frost) Wagner and Charles Frost.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Friday, June 29, 2012 at the Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville with the Rev. Brian Crocker officiating. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Township of Matteson, Waupaca County.
Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9 A.M. until the time of the service
