  Fischer, Francis A., De Per e, WI.Francis A. Fischer, age 83, died Monday evening, November 10, 2003 at S t. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay. He was born March 1, 1920 in Hortonvill e, the son of the late Emil and Mary (Meyer) Fischer. On May 24, 1945 he w as united in marriage to Marion Kempen. Francis was a WWII Army veteran a nd a member of the Freedom VFW. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Cat holic Church, De Pere and the Knights of Columbus. Francis farmed in the S eymour area for 20 years until his retirement. He enjoyed time spent in Fl orida, where he and Marion resided for ten years.He is survived by his wife, Marion; his children: Sharon (Mark) Schradin g, Kaukauna; Joyce (Greg) Rottier, De Pere; Gary (Trena) Fischer, Green Ba y; Ronald (Robin) Fischer, Howard; David (Mary) Fischer, Appleton; Micha el (Deanna) Fischer, Charleston, SC; eleven grandchildren, five great-gran dchildren; two sisters: Lorraine King, Appleton; Delores Reiland, Hortonvi lle; also, two brothers: Robert (Marion) Fischer, Appleton; and Donald Fis cher, Pella.Francis was preceded in death by one son, Tim; one grandson, Mark; five br others and three sisters.Friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1307 Lourdes Ave ., De Pere, on Friday, November 14, 2003 from 9 a.m. until the Mass of Chr istian Burial at 11 a.m., with Father Conrad Kratz, O.Pram officiating. Mi litary rites will follow the service by the Freedom VFW Post #7692. The bu rial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Seymour, WI. The Muehl-Boett cher Funeral Home, Seymour is assisting the family. A memorial fund has be en established.
