- Harold P. Frederickson, age 79, passed away peacefully at Wisconsin Veterans Home in King on Thursday, December 19, 2013, after a brief illness. Harold was born in DePere, WI on May 25, 1934 to the late Robert and Grace (Hansen) Frederickson. After graduating high school, Harold proudly served his country in Korea with the United States Army. On May 12, 1956, he was united in marriage to Genevieve M. Steffens in Kaukauna. The couple enjoyed 48 years together until her death in April of 2004. Harold was a self-employed truck driver. He owned and operated Gen Trucking and Frederickson Construction Company. After retiring in 1996, he worked part-time at the Learning Shop.
He is survived by two sons: Gregory (Ramona) Frederickson, Hortonville and Guy (Kathy) Frederickson, Freedom; two daughters: Gwenn Baumann, AZ, and Karen (Keith) Kabat, Neenah; 7 grandchildren: Jonathan, Tyler, Mike, Alicia, Nic, Kelly Katie; 4 brothers: Donald Frederickson, Hollandtown, Richard (Evelyn) Frederickson, Kaukauna, Kenneth (Janet) Frederickson, Darboy, and Vernon (Carol) Frederickson, Kaukauna; a sister, Phyllis Janssen, Combined Locks; 2 sisters in law: Joyce Frederickson, Kaukauna and Joan Frederickson, Little Chute and a brother in law, Don Spearings. He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers: Raymond (Margaret), Darvin and Roger Frederickson, a sister Janet Spearings, and a sister in law, Carol Fredericson.
A funeral service will take place at 11 am on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel with Rev. Janet Frederickson officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 am until the time of service. Interment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Neenah. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
