- Robert C. Feavel, 66 of Appleton, died Saturday June 13, 2015 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born in Appleton September 17, 1948, son of the late Ledgar and Josephine (nee Ebbon) Feavel.
Robert graduated from Xavier High School in 1966. He served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard. Robert was an active member at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Appleton. He ushered at the Attic Theater and the Performing Arts Center. Robert volunteered his time at St. Vincent De Paul for ten years and at Habitat for Humanity. He was a member of Pacesetters, the Sierra Club and was a frequent blood donor at the Community Blood Center. Robert was very adventurous; he lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed hiking, kayaking, biking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and running. He also loved to travel.
Robert is survived by his two children; son Chris (Emily), Neenah, and daughter Jennifer (Sean) Zawko, Anchorage, AK; his five grandchildren, Caleb, Gabriella, Keegan, Keelee, and Tymber; one sister, Rochelle (Gerry) Altenhofen, Appleton; and two brothers, Doug (Barbara) Feavel, IN; and Thomas (Margaret) Bekkers (Feavel), Oshkosh; Robert is further survived by his special friend, Patty Murphy; and his best friends and caregivers, Dave and Sally Schoenke. He was further preceded in death by a brother, Richard.
Funeral Mass for Robert will be 11:00 AM on Friday June 19, 2015 at ST. MARY'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 312 S State St, Appleton, with Fr. Bill Swichtenberg officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Friday beginning at 9:00 AM until the hour of service.
