  John H. Van Den Berg, Appleton, Wis. Age 70, passed away at 10 a.m. Friday after a long illness. He was born April 3, 1892 in the Town of Buchanan. He was a member of the Holy Name Society, the Third Order of St. Francis of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Appleton. Mr. Van Den Berg is survived by four daughter, Mrs. Walter A. (Frances) Joosten, Little Chute, Mrs. Ernest (Grace) Thoreson, Gary, Ind., Mrs. Dorothy Sonnleitner, Visalia, Calif., Mrs. Ralph (Rose) Grunwald, Oshkosh, three sons, Urban, Canoga Park, Calif., David, Porto Rico, Alois, Cashton, Wis., two brothers, Wilfred, Kimberly, Harry, Appleton, three sisters, Mrs. George Rooyakkers, Kimberly, Mrs. John Spaay, Whitewater, Miss Roseanne Van Den Berg, Kinberly. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Verkuilen Funeral Home, Little Chute after 2 p.m. Sunday. Rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
