- See Image Edward J. Vosters ; W3030 E. Broadway Drive, Apple tonAge 87, died early Christmas morning, December 25, 2000, with his fami ly at his side at Parkside Care Center, Little Chute. He was born Septemb er 7, 1913, in Freedom, son of Joseph and Anna (Diedrick) Vosters. Edwa rd married Marie Nelessen on November 15, 1945. Edward served his count ry in the European Theatre in World War II from 1942 to 1945 and was a mem ber of the Jacob Coppus American Legion Post 258, Little Chute. He was a l ifelong member of Saint John's Catholic Church, Little Chute. He was engag ed in farming all of his life and retired in 1975. After retiring he enjoy ed traveling, playing cards, bowling and golfing. He especially enjoyed sp ending time with his grandchildren.Edward was a loving husband and father. He is survived by his his loving w ife; ten children; 35 grandchildren, Vyonne (Bob) Van Den Bosch and the ir children, Kim, Doug, Nicole and Natalie, Freedom; Paul (Ruth) and the ir children, Julie, Andrea and Nathan, Appleton; Ervin and his daughter Sa rena, Hollandtown; Shirley (Lee) VanderLoop and their children, Chad, Chri sta, Tonya, Craig and Adam, Freedom; Llyod (Sue) and their children, Be n, Charlie, Katie, and Becky, Kaukauna; Gordon (Connie) and their childre n, Angela, Justin and Jake, Kaukauna; Doris (Steve) Schuh and their childr en, Scott, Deni, Dana, Derek, Jennifer, Joshua and Samantha, Freedom; Gr eg (Kathy) and their children, Lindsey and Philip, Freedom; Connie (Ric k) Huss and their children: Nick, Tara and David, Freedom; Tony (Paula) a nd their children: Andrew, Eric and Bradley, Kaukauna; four great-grandcil dren, Trevor, Max, Cody and Griffin; one brother, Raymond (Catherine), App leton; numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Mr. V osters was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and one sister-i n-law, Matthew and Henry (Ann).Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 29, 2000, at Sai nt John's Church, Little Chute, with the Rev. Msgr. James Vanden Hogen off iciating. Interment will be in Saint John's Cemetery, Little Chute. Frien ds may call at the Verkuilen Funeral Home from 4 p.m.-8p.m. Thursday and f rom 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday. A military service will be held at 7 p.m. Thur sday and a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
