  Mrs. George Van Epe ren, age 87, died unexpectedly Sunday evening at her home. The former Ma ry Verhagen, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Verhagen, was bo rn September 22nd, 1892 in Clarksburg Michigan. She lived in the Black Cr eek area since 1939, prior to that she and her husband farmed near Freedo m. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the Christian Mother's S ociety, the Golden Agers, the Gold Star Mothers and the Masch-Duhm Americ an Legion auxiliary, Black Creek. Survivors include two daughters Mrs. Sy lvester (Loretta) Sanderfoot, Route 2 DePere and Mrs. William (Grace) VanG rinsven, Appleton, a son, Ferdinand of Appleton, 12 grandchildren, 21 gre at-grandchildren, four sisters and law and a brother and law. She was pre ceded in death by her first husband, William Verhagen, in 1918 and her sec ond husband, George VanEperen, died in 1968, also preceded by three son s, Elmer Verhagen, Clarence and Larry VanEperen, two sisters and four brot hers. The fueneral will be at 10:30 am. Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Ch urch Black Creek, with Rev. Thaddeus Koszarek officiating. Internment wi ll be in the Holy Name Cemetery in Kimberly.
