- Weiland, Lorraine E.(nee Liebergen) Random Lake, died August 15, 2004, a ge 90 yrs. She was born on April 29, 1914, to the late Peter and Johanna ( Van Lanen) Liebergen.She married Joseph Houpt on June 16, 1934, he preceded her in death in Ju ne of 1941, while he was racing in Manitowoc. Lorraine then married Norbe rt Weiland in 1942, he preceded her in death in 1990 of natural causes.Lrraine was employed at Smith Brothers Restaurant, Power Products and La ke Central Leather. She finally retired to spend more time with her childr en and grandchildren. She resided at her own home in Lakefield for many ye ars and then moved in with her daughter Faye for 9 years in Port Washingto n. Lorraine's next move was to Manchester Heights in Grafton, where she re sided for 20 years. She enjoyed her time at Manchester, where she co-host ed many events. She always had an open door policy and welcomed peop le to stop in for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Lorraine moved to Ga bles on the Pond in 2002, where she was treated as part of the family a nd loved by all.Lorraine is survived by her children, Wayne (Joan) Houpt, Faye (Dennis) St orck , Patti (Jerry) Strigel and Jane Winters. Her grandchildren, Sandy, J oe, Mary Beth, Scott, Nancy, Deneane, Daniel, Faith, Jim and Amy and 16 gr eat-grandchildren. 2 sisters, Germain Hutjens and Bernadette Gehring. 4 si ster-in-law's, Rosemary, Eileen and Agnes Liebergen and Anita Liebergen-He rmson. Further survived by other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, 9 brothers and sisters and 2 inf ant sons. Lorraine was a special mom, mother-in-law and grandma. She wi ll be deeply missed by all, but is now at peace in heaven. Mass of Christi an Burial Monday, August 23, 7 PM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church (1619 Wa shington Ave. Grafton). Interment St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah, WI. Weiland, who di ed on Aug. 15, 2004 at the age of 90. Interment will be at St. Margaret Ce metery in Neenah. Instate at the church on Monday from 4 p.m. until the ti me of service.
