- Mr. Gerald Lee Zastrow, age 83, of Waupaca, formerly of Milwaukee and Keno sha, passed away Tuesday, September 12th, 2006, at Lakeview Manor in Weyau wega Wisconsin. Mr. Zastrow was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on April 8, 1 923, he was the son of the late George and Hazel (Lee) Zastrow. On July 2 1, 1943, he married Rita Gradall in Milwaukee. Gerald served in the Unit ed States Navy during World War II. He was employed at American Motors f or 34 years. He was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Kenosh a, Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca, former member of Western Kiwanis, m ember of Masonic Lodge #47 F&AM , past president of Kenosha Shrine, servi ng as President in 1968, former member of Elk Lodge #750. He enjoyed golfi ng and fishing.
He is survived by Wife: Rita Zastrow, Waupaca, WI; sons: Terrence (Louis e) Zastrow, Kenosha, WI; Gerald (Heidi) Zastrow, Amherst, WI; daughters: B arbara (Richard) Lenz, Kenosha, WI; Karen Evans, Waukesha, WI; Debra (Keit h) Vaughn, Anchorage, AK.; 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kenneth Zastrow.
Funeral Mass at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Community, Waupaca, Wisconsi n. at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 16th, with Reverend Roy Geenen officia ting. Interment will be in the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery Waupac a, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held Saturday 1-2 p.m. at St. Mary Magdal ene Catholic Community. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been estab lished.
