- Richard H. Klein, age 92, Kaukauna, in loving memory entered eternal life after a peaceful death Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at Colony Oaks Care Center. He was born September 4, 1914, in Butternut, Wisconsin. Dick married Enith Zoesch August 31, 1940. He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Kaukauna. Dick was a firefighter for the City of Milwaukee, serving 25 years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time at his cabin in Glidden, WI.
He will be sadly missed by his children: Thomas (Judy) Klein, Kiel; Kristine (Jerry) Zimmerman, Appleton, and Roger (Nancy) Klein, Watertown; grandchildren: Brian (Tamara) Klein, Scott (Cindy) Stenglein, Todd Klein, Bradley (Sara) Klein, Kendra Klein and Jayme Berenz; great-grandchildren: Steven, Maxwell and Autumn; sister, Nina (Ralph) Mishker; brother, Donald (Evelyn) Klein; special friend, Lorraine Ludwig.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; wife Enith; brothers: Edward and Russell.
Funeral services will be held at (Noon) 12 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2007, at Bethany Lutheran Church, Kaukauna, with Pastor Walter Steinbach officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Appleton. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service at church. Memorials may be directed to Bethany Lutheran Church. The family would like to thank the staff at Colony Oaks Care Center.
