- Kenneth E. Popp, age 75, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 27, 2009, at his home. He was born on March 5, 1934, son of the late Elmer and Afton (Richter) Popp. Kenneth loved his family, motorcycling, hunting, gardening and his everyday walks. He worked at Continental Can Company in Milwaukee until his retirement in 1989.
Kenneth is survived by four daughters: Cindy Grover, GA; Vickie (Jeff) Baumann, Appleton; Antonette Mullen, PA; Meri (fiance Dan) Becker, Appleton; two sons: Clay Vista, Greenville, and Mark Popp, Hortonville. He is further survived by seven grandchildren: Jeffrey Jr., Tonya, Jonathan, Jenny, Chrissy, Nikki and Michael; four great-grandchildren: Olivia, Alex Logan and A.J..
Kenneth was preceded in death by a daughter; Diana and a grandson; Rick.
A funeral service for Kenneth will be 12 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2009, at Highland Memorial Park Chapel, 3131 N. Richmond St., Appleton. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Saturday at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
