- Margaret Van De Hey, 85, Appleton, formerly of Little Chute, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2007, at Franciscan Care. She was born Jan. 12, 1922, in Little Chute, daughter of Henry and Rose (Weyenberg) Hietpas. Margaret married Norbert F. Van De Hey June 27, 1946, and he preceded her in death Feb. 16, 1990. Mrs. Van De Hey was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute, and the Jacob Coppus Ladies Auxiliary. She was employed at Tiesling's Bridal Salon, Appleton and Green Bay, for many years. Margaret's grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Margaret is survived by her children, Bob (Susan) Van De Hey, New London; Debbie (Cronin) Van De Hey, Kaukauna; Fran (Paul) Kielas, East Troy; half-brother, Mark Lenegar, Ruskin, Fla; 13 grandchildren, Melanie, Jessie, Kari, Bob, B.J., Colleen, Amber Lee, Amber Bethany, Britney, Lana, Kristi, Charlie, Liz; 14 great-grandchildren; twin brother, Raymond Hietpas, Penzance, England; sister-in-law, Patricia Van De Hey, Kaukauna; brother-in-law, Richard (Alice) Van De Hey, Winneconne; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Roger Van De Hey and Steven Lenegar; daughter-in-law, Anita Lenegar; sisters-in-law, Joan Hietpas and Iline (Joe) Nackers; brothers-in-law, Ray (Helen), Howard Van De Hey.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute, with Fr. David Funk O.F.M. Cap. officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. Friends may call at the church from 3 p.m. Tuesday until the time of the mass.
