My Catherine Hermans DeGroot is buried in Everg reen Cemetery in the DeGroot Family Plot. Her headstone reads "Catherin e" with the dates of 1881 - 1946. To my mother's knowledge (born & rais ed in Wausaukee), Evergreen is the only cemetery in Wausaukee. Also, Cath erine Hermans DeGroot raised her sister's daughter, Caroline, who marri ed Anton J. Edelbeck & lived in Wausaukee.
