- Marion E. Williams, 93, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010, at home. She was born on Oct. 28, 1916, in Appleton, the daughter of Carl and Rose (Deltour) Zimmerman. She married Harold Williams on June 27, 1935, in Kimberly. Marion enjoyed cooking and baking, crocheting, and playing cards, especially sheepshead. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Kimberly, and enjoyed her time as a volunteer at Colony Oaks Nursing Home.
Marion is survived by two sons, Harold (Karen) Williams, Neenah, and Michael (Carol) Williams, Peachtree City, GA; two daughters, Beverly Hoffman, Appleton, and Barbara Quella, Menasha; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and special friends, John and Eileen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; a granddaughter, Sharon; two brothers; three sisters; and a son-in-law, Ben Hoffman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, July 19, 2010, at 12 p.m. at HOLY SPIRIT CHURCH, 600 E. Kimberly Ave., with Fr. Gerald Falk officiating. Visitation will be held at church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the mass. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. A memorial fund will be established in Marion's name.
