  Konkol, Regina G., MenashaAge 96, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2002 at Franciscan Care Cent er in Appleton. Regina was born December 7, 1905 in Little Chute; the daug hter of the late Nicholas and Agnes (Pennings) Schommer. She married Theod ore "Ted" Konkol, who preceded her in death in 1972. Regina was a life lo ng member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. She loved cats, playing cards, r aising orchids, roses and working in her garden. Regina was the younge st of 11 children, with all of her brothers and sisters preceding her in d eath.She is survived by her children: Marion Gonnering, Appleton; Charlotte (Bi ll) Dahl, Neenah; Richard (Patti) Konkol, Menasha; a son-in-law, Robert "B ud" Phillips, Green Bay; a daughter-in-law, Norma (Jim) Tuttle, Appleto n; 17 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildre n; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preced ed in death by a son, Theodore Konkol, Jr.; a daughter, Shirley Phillip s; a son, Kenneth Konkol; and a son-in-law, Nicholas Gonnering; and a daug hter-in-law, Patricia Konkol.The funeral Mass for Regina will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2002 at 11 :00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 320 Nicolet Blvd., Menasha with F ather Roy Geenen officiating. Burial will be in St. Margaret Cemetery. Fri ends and family will be received at the church on Saturday morning at 9: 30 a.m. until the hour of the Mass. A memorial is being established for t he Alzheimers Association.The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Franciscan Care Cen ter, Units 1 and 2 for all the special loving care given.
