- Henry Harry G. Leider
Henry Leider, age 77, formerly of Belgium, died Saturday morning, April 2 0, 2002, at Sheboygan Progressive Care Center in Sheboygan.He was born in the Town of Fredonia on May 2, 1924 to Robert and Lucy Gras ser Leider. On May 1, 1948, he married Germaine Gall at St. Mary Cathol ic Church in Lake Church. The couple farmed in the Belgium area before Har ry went to work for Krier Preserving.Henry was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake Church and the Ho ly Name Society. He enjoyed polka music, doing woodworking projects in h is garage, watching the deer at Harrington Beach State Park and spending t ime with his grandchildren.He is survived by his wife Germaine, their children Janice (Peter) Birenba um of Random Lake, Joanne (Dwight) Maciejewski of Port Washington, Maril yn (Al) Fromm of Grafton and William (Ruth) Leider of Belgium. He is furth er survived by 12 grandchildren; two brothers, Alois (the late Carol) a nd Gregory (Lavern) Leider, both of Fredonia; one sister, Helen (Robert) A rendt of Shawano, two brothers-in-law, Ray Eischen of Random Lake and R ay (the late Beatrice) Gantner of Belgium; nieces, nephews, other relativ es and many friends. He is preceded in death by two sisters, Lucille (t he late William) Vanderloop and Julia Eischen.Funeral services will be held Monday, April 22, 2002, at 6:30 p.m. from t he Eernisse Funeral Home, going to St. Mary Lake Church for Mass of Christ ian burial at 7 p.m. Father James Ernster will officiate. Burial wi ll be in the parish cemetery.The family will receive visitors at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 171 N. Roy al Ave. (Hwy. LL and Park St.), Belgium, on Monday from 4 p.m. until Fami ly Rights at 6:30 p.m.In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested. The family wishes to thank t he nurses and staff on the 100 wing at Sheboygan Progressive Care for t he excellent care given to Harry over the last few years.
