- Mader, James A. KaukaunaAge 58, died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 22, 2002 doing what he loved bes t. He was born March 4, 1944 in Appleton the son of Ralph and Marie (Welho use) Mader. On April 18, 1970 Jim married the former Karen Kress at Sacr ed Heart Catholic Church, Sherwood. The couple farmed in the town of Bucha nan their entire married lives. His life revolved around his family. Jim e njoyed farming and frequent games of Sheepshead. He was a member of St. Ma ry's Catholic Church, Kaukauna and The Knights of Columbus. Jim is surviv ed by his wife of 32 years: Karen, Kaukauna, their children: Jame II "Jami e" (Janella) Mader and their children: Christina, Melissa, Kevin, Mickayl a, and Angelina, Chilton; Sara (Jesse) Massonet and their son Jacob, Kimbe rly; Chad (Ikuko) Mader, stationed with the United States Marine Corps; Ja son (Christine) Mader and their children: Zachary and Daniel, Ripon; Benja min Mader, Kaukauna; Michelle Mader, Kaukauna; Jessica (Special friend, Da vid Van Dyn Hoven), Kaukauna; Abby Mader and Scott Mader, both at home; h is father: Ralph Mader (friend, Julie Micke), Kaukauna, two brothers and t wo sisters-in-law: Charles (Judy) Mader and Mike (Becky) Mader, all of Men asha; four sisters and four brothers-in-law: Ann (Tom) Stumpf, Ruth (Pau l) Stumpf, Dorothy Kempen, all of Kaukauna; Clarence Jr. (Bonnie) Wolfinge r, Dundas; Marie (Pat) Zirbel, Wrightstown. He is further survived by h is wife's parents: Kenneth (Betty) Kress, Sherwood; two sisters, three bro thers, and their families. Jim is preceded in death by his mother Marie, t hree grandchildren: Cassie, Alex and Kelsey and a sister Barbara Wolfinge r. The funeral service will at at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday at St. Mary's Cathol ic Church, Kaukauna with Father Robert Udulutsch officiating. Burial wi ll be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Sherwood. Friends may call at Boe ttcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna from 4:00-9: 00 P.M., Monday and after 9:00 A.M., Tuesday at the funeral home until t he cortege leaves for church. There will be a parish prayer service at 8: 30 P.M. Monday. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been establish ed in his name.
