Hoeffel 901 Sixth st, Appleton suffered a skull fracture abt 4" long, while playing Football at the High School grounds. Occurred Fri Sept 23, 1920 at School. Taken to St Elizabeth Hospital Sunday the 25th of Sept.where he had an operation. Was resting easy at St Elizabeth Hospital Wednesday morning.
