- Mrs. Martin Kieffe r, Regina Meulemans, age 80, died Wednesday, October 4th, 1989, at home. S he was born January 30, 1909, in Wrightstown, the daughter of the late Edw ard and Barbara (Buechel) Meulemans. She was raised in Wrightstown and h ad lived in Freedom from 1933 until 1986, when she moved to Kaukauna. S he started the Freedom Forever 4 H Club and the Silver Star Homemakers. S he has been past treasurer of the Christian Mother's and head of the Clipp er Club at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom, and the member of the Th ird Order of St. Francis. She had also been employed at Geenens General s tore in Freedom. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Ronald a nd Barbara Kieffer, Menominee Falls; a daughter and son-in-law: Norma Je an and Louis Fuhrmann, of Kaukauna; six grandchildren: David, Don, Bob, a nd John Fuhrmann, Connie and Gretchen Kieffer, four great-grandchildren; t wo brothers: Emil (Marie) Meulemans, Reddsville; Norbert (Ceil) Meuleman s, of Wrightstown; four sisters: Marguerite Frahm, Evelyn (John) Blick, bo th of Appleton; Edna (Henry) Spierings; Lorain (William) Green, both of Fr eedom. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin, in 1971; two gra ndson's; and two sisters: Mildred Arnoldussen and Mamie Leidel. Funeral s ervices will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday October 7th, 1989, at St. Nichol as Catholic Church, Freedom, with Father Leander Nickel officiating. Inte rnment will be in the parish cemetery.
