- Marvin G. VandenHeuvel, 76, of Bellevue, died Wednesday, August 21, 200 2, at a local nursing home. The son of the late John and Nellie (Minten) V andenHeuvel was born on July 11, 1926, in De Pere. Marvin served in t he U. S. Army during World War II. On April 18, 1952, he married the form er Elaine Sauerhammer at St. Joseph Catholic Church. She preceded him in d eath on July 29, 1985. Mr. VandenHeuvel worked with the Sisters of Our La dy of Charity for many years.
Survivors include four children and their spouses, Sherry and Hank Moore n, Linda and Keith Wallace, Pam and Gary Laabs, and Larry and Tina VandenH euvel; nine grandchildren, Tracy Granius, Terry Mooren, Michelle Perry, Da vid Wallace, Gary Laabs, Shawn Shroble, Paula Dalebroux, Elizabeth VandenH euvel, and Zachary Willems; five great-grandchildren, Jesse Granius, Jac ob Perry, Calvin Laabs, Hannah Schroble, and Cody Dalebroux; two sister s, Mae VandenHoogan, and Della DeStarkey.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine; parents; one son, Marvin Van denHeuvel, Jr.; three sisters, Theodora "Ted" Weyers, Josephine Rottier, J eanette Vissers; two brothers, Francis VandenHeuvel and Raymond VandenHeuv el.
Friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere, fr om 4 to 9 Sunday. Prayer service will be held at 7 PM. Visitation will con tinue from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Monday at Immaculate Conception Church, Oneid a. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Monday at the Chur ch with the Rev. William Swichtenberg, officiating. Burial will foll ow in the church Cemetery.
