- See Image Hendricks, Agnes "Aggie", Freedom Age 76, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2003 at home after a short batt le with cancer, with family by her side. She was born to the late Herman a nd Catherine (Verbeten) Klister on June 8, 1927. On February 1, 1945 she m arried Henry Hendricks in Baraboo. They enjoyed 58 years together. Her int erests were golfing, crafts, reading and country music. She also liked ros es and birds. She was very devoted to her husband, children, grandchildr en and great grandchildren. Family was always number one to her. Her great est joy was making other people happy. Her warm smile and sense of humor w as a joy to everyone who knew her. She worked at the school lunch progr am at St. Nicholas School for 24 years. She enjoyed working with the child ren. She was a member of the Christian Mother Society.Aggie is survived by her husband Henry and five children: Donna (Jerry) Sm ith of Madison, Jeff (Darlene) Hendricks of Little Chute, Yvonne (Mike) Ga rvey of Vandenbroek, Vicki (Joel) Schulz of Stevens Point and Todd (Tany a) Hendricks of Freedom; 14 grandchildren: Shawn (Pam) Smith, Stacy (Scot t) McCullough, Scott Smith, Traci (Glenn) Hipwell; Travis, Kelly and Ker ri Hendricks; Erica, Michael and Cole Garvey; Jeremy and Nicole Schulz; Me agen and Danielle Hendricks; and Garrett Lunn; and four great grandchildre n: Allison Smith; Kassi and Breanna McCullough, and Noah Hipwell; six sist ers: Florence Van Schindel, Mary Jane Hendricks, Rosemary Smith, Kathle en (Robert) Ostrenga, Carol Van Dyke, and Shirley (Ron) Stier; five siste rs and brothers-in-law: Inez Ebben, Art Hendricks, Gladys Hendricks, An ge (Ves) Geurts, Theresa Schmidt. Aggie is further survived by many niece s, nephews, relatives and many special friends.Aggie was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter Lynn; infant g randdaughter, Mary Smith; brother, Clifford "Jim" Klister; and in-laws: Ma rtin and Gertrude Hendricks; Clarence Van Schindel, Clarence (Rick) Smit h, Ves Van Dyke, Pete and Minnie Hietpas, Les and Loretta Diedrich, Ed Ebb en, Martha Hendricks, Ed Hendricks, Leo Hendricks, and Joe Schmidt.The funeral liturgy will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 22, 2003 at St. N icholas Catholic Church, Freedom, with Fr. Dennis Ryan officiating. Frien ds will be received at the Fargo Funeral Home on Thursday, August 21, fr om 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. and at the church f rom 10 a.m. until the time of the liturgy. Burial will be at St. Nichol as Cemetery, Freedom.The family extends a special thank you to the staff at Affinity Hospice f or their compassionate care.
