- 1909 Kaukauna Times dated 11/26/1909; Peter Renn, proprietor of the Kaukau na Ice House was married Tuesday morning November 23 at St. Mary's Chur ch to Emma Green daughter of John Green of Combined Locks. The bridal coup le were attended by the sister of the groom Katherine Renn as bridesmaid a nd John Green Jr. a brother of the bride as best man. The brides gown w as a neat tailor made suit of broadcloth, she carried a white prayer boo k. A reception followed at the home of the brides parents where dinner w as served to a few invited guests. Mr & Mrs Renn will at once begin keepi ng house in the main part of the Watson house at the corner of Wisconsin A ve and Depot St. where they have a suite of rooms prepared for their recep tion. there was an unusual number of useful and elegant presents in silv er and table linens from relatives and friends.
