- Krieck, Ethel (Peterson), Little Chute Age 83, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2004 at St. Elizabeth Hospital surrounded by her family. Ethel was born on November 12, 1920, daughter of the late Charles and Theresa (Micke) Peterson. In 1960, she married Orville "Slim" Krieck, and the couple operated Meadows Riding Stable for many years.Ethel is survived by two daughters: Shirley (David) Mulroy, Fremont; JoAnn (Robert) VerKuilen, Little Chute; three sons: Richard (Sallie) Porto, New Berlin; Donald (Patricia) Porto, Bakersfield, California; Moxy Krieck, Bayside; fifteen grandchildren: Stephanie (Greg) Berger, Valerie Mulroy, Shaun (Anita) Mulroy, Andy Mulroy, Daniel Mulroy, and Katina Mulroy; Mark (Teresa) VerKuilen, Karen Williams, and Stacy (Kevin) Doucette; Lisa (John) Egan, Tristan Porto, and Angela Porto; David Porto, Scott Porto, and Sara Porto; seven great-grandchildren: James Mulroy, Sadie Mulroy, Andrea, Grant, Stone and Chancellor VerKuilen, and Henry Egan; three sisters: Lilas (Milford) Roehrborn, Wrightstown, Patricia Vandeyacht, Kaukauna; Ida (Ray) VandenLangenberg, Green Bay; two sisters-in-law: Marie Peterson, Appleton and Dorothy Peterson, Black Creek. She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepmother, Millie Peterson; two brothers: Robert Peterson and Charles Peterson; two sisters and three brothers-in-law: Florence and Jake Lamers; Carol and Joe Van Laarhoven, and Mark Vandeyacht.
