  See Image Hawley, Edwin T. Kaukauna;Age 88, died Tuesday, January 14, 2003 at St. El izabeth Hospital. Ed was born November 13, 1914 to the late Frank and Be ss (LaPraire) Hawley in Kaukauna. He married the former Ruth E. Vandeh ey on October 1, 1937 in Green Bay. She survives him. Ed worked as a Cra ne Operator for 43 years at Thilmany until his retirement. He enjoyed fish ing, hunting and card playing. Ed was a longtime member of the Moose Cl ub and in the Quarter Century Club of Thilmany Papers.He is survived by his wife, Ruth Hawley; five sons: Jerry (Toni) Hawley, L eesburg, Florida; Robert (Nancy) Hawley, Clintonville; Len (Mary) Hawle y, Orlando, Florida; David (Carol) Hawley, Oshkosh; and Don (Betty) Hawle y, Appleton; a daughter, Patricia (Bob) Sievert, Winneconne; 19 grandchild ren, three step grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, four step great-gra ndchildren and a great-great-grandchild. He will also be missed by two sis ters, Betty Pollack, St. Petersburg, Florida; and Irene Ross, Racine, Wisc onsin.He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.Ed's memorial service will be 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2003 at t he BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna with F r. David Schmidt officiating. Friends will be received at the Funeral Ho me on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. A memorial is bei ng established in Ed's name. Boettcher Family Funeral Home is assisting t he family, 766-2099.
